Steve has been a full-time Adapted PE Specialist for the School District of Holmen, Holmen, WI, since 2004. He works primarily in the high school, providing adapted physical education services for one-on-one, inclusive classrooms and transition programs at Holmen High School. Steve received his BA in Physical Education from The University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 2002, his MA in Physical Education, with an emphasis in Adapted Physical Education, and Adapted Physical Education in 2004. Steve was the WHPE Wisconsin Adapted Physical Education Teacher of the Year in 2023 and the SHAPE America Midwest District Adapted Physical Education Teacher of the Year in 2024.
Steve is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Wisconsin –La Crosse.
