Dr. Ann N. K. Hockett is an Assistant Professor of Physical Education and Health Education at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. She has nearly 20 years of experience in K–12 and higher education settings and specializes in social and emotional learning, teacher preparation, and professional leadership development. Dr. Hockett co-chaired the Wisconsin Health Education Standards revision process and serves in leadership roles with SHAPE America as the current SHAPE Midwest District President and Wisconsin Health & Physical Education as the future professional advisor. She is passionate about preparing future educators to create inclusive, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences that support the whole child.
