Kristen Allen has been teaching high school health education in Western Maine for the past 18 years. She has her BS in Community Health and Masters in Public Health. Kristen was the 2022 Maine AHPERD High School Health Teacher of the Year, and the 2025 SHAPE America Eastern District Health Teacher of the Year. She has been an adjunct instructor at the University of Maine at Farmington since 2020, teaching school health education classes. Kristen is passionate about skills based health education and sharing her experience and knowledge with others.
