Justin is the 2024 SHAPE Central District Adapted Physical Education Teacher of the Year as well as the 2022 MNSHAPE Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) Teacher of the Year. He taught middle school Health/PE for two years, then he has been teaching Adapted PE in Bloomington Public Schools (BPS) at the pre-K and elementary levels since 2016. He is a co-lead for the DAPE team in BPS and is on the MNDAPE statewide leadership committee. Justin and his wife, Maddie, have two kids; Beckett (7) and Callie (5), and they live in Shakopee, MN.
